Everi hopeful of making progress with ecash in UK
By Phil - 11 February 2025
Everi was showcasing its ecash product line at ICE with the hope that the UK’s White Paper on gambling reform will open the door to the market.
The ecash Premium Cash Redemption Terminal (CRT) delivers advanced payment technology via a large edge-lit screen. The ecash ultra-small footprint redemption terminal – miniCRT – is also available internationally and fits small floor needs as well as the route, bar, and tavern segment. The ecash MiniCashier Recycler is also ideal for small-floor needs, designed to serve cashiers, and typically installed behind the ‘cage’ or within the secure cashier area of a venue.
Jas Sodhi, Director of International Business at Everi, said: “Everi’s payment solutions are designed to maximise funds to the floor, optimise how players access their funds, and enable casino operators to monitor and control player activity with an eye towards responsible gaming. We’re hoping that with the UK’s White Paper there will be a huge take up from the market.”
Everi’s Loyalty tools also provide additional player engagement opportunities. For example, the Prelude promotional kiosk unifies all loyalty programme guest service functions into a simple, self-service solution. The ideal place for guests to engage directly with the casino’s player loyalty programme, Prelude can now be wall-mounted or otherwise configured to provide full flexibility within a limited floor space. In terms of Powered by the BeOn Mobile Services Platform, which utilises all of the Company’s mobile services, Everi helps drive increased patron engagement for operators and venues in the casino, sports, entertainment, and hospitality industries.
Everi Digital meanwhile continues to build off the company’s library of popular land-based titles while also creating original games that fit the industry trend of experiential themes. The latest digital themes on display at ICE included Super Dragon, Blazin’ Grand, Press Your Luck: Whammy Wilds, and the player-popular Cash Machine, which is newer to European markets.
