Finland – DRGT to install systems for RAY

DRGT and RAY in Finland have reached an agreement for DRGT to provide its systems solutions to RAY’s planned new arcades this year.
RAY is Finland’s Slot Machine Association that has the exclusive rights to operate all slot machines, casino games and casino gaming operations in Finland. RAY operates more than 21,000 gaming machines spread over 7,500 locations. Furthermore, the only current casino in Finland – Casino Helsinki – is also operated by RAY.
The business relationship between the two companies has grown over recent times and RAY already has DRGT systems in operations in four of its own ‘Feel Vegas’ arcades. “The DRGT system is thus familiar to us”, explained Sina Hentunen, Business Manager at RAY. “The DRGT system is very stable and secure and we have the opportunity to fine tune it to our own needs. This flexibility has many benefits, including the jackpot features”, she continued.
Established in 1938, RAY became a public corporation in 1962. All the proceeds from RAY’s gaming operations are used to promote Finnish health and welfare. RAY generated a revenue of approx. 420 million euros in 2015. RAY has 94 member organizations that operate in the health and social welfare sectors

RAY expects to open a further three ‘Feel Vegas’ arcades this year which will all naturally have the DRGT system fitted. “DRGT systems are easy to use, they are stable and they offer many possibilities. We are very pleased with the service DRGT offers and the speed of professionalism of installations”, noted Ms. Hentunen. “What really impresses us as well is that the system runs even when it is offline.
