France- Partouche extends Casino Quatre-Saisons licence

By - 11 June 2017

French operator Partouche will invest €4.6m in Casino Quatre-Saisons, the property it has operated at Le Touquet in Pas-de-Calais having secured its licence for a further 20 years.

Partouche was the sole candidate for the licence. The mayor of Le Touquet, Daniel Fasquelle said the municipality had “managed to at least renew the same conditions as those of the previous concession”.
Partouche said that €165,000 would be spent on the renewal of furniture and slot machines each year and that nearly €1.3m would be released in 2030 for a ‘business plan.’

The city of Le Touquet will receive around €90,000 per year from the casino until 2037. Le Touquet has two casinos on its territory. The most important is Casino Barriere du Touquet operated by the Barrière Group, which generated GGR of €10,784,174 in 2016, putting it in 70th place of the 200 French casinos. Casino Quatre-Saisons generated GGR of €3,640,826 putting it in 153rd place.
