France – Partouche to relocate Pornic licence

By - 8 January 2018

Opening on November 1, 2018, the new Casino Pornic will take place on the Ria, the new neighbourhood located along the channel upstream of the port, a few hundred meters from the current casino, in South-Eastern Brittany.

The large 3,500 m² cylindrical building will also house a restaurant and a 1,000-seat theatre. This transfer announced by the group Partouche was motivated by the need to expand its offerings. “The casino today is a pretty postcard but with limited space for evolution. It has a lounge on the floor of 180 m² but is too small to make headliners,” said Stanislas Varella, the director. The future establishment will offer a larger room with 1,000 seats.

The new Pornic casino is located just a five-minute walk from the current establishment, the new casino will benefit from the proximity of a large car park and a hotel that will open in early 2019.

The casino, which will use a TITO system, will host 150 slot machines (50 more than currently) in the same room as the card games. The restaurant will offer 800 seats.
