France – Partouche revenues up 21.3 per cent in first quarter of 2023

French casino group Partouche saw its Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) for the first quarter of 2023 increase by 21.3 per cent, hitting €171.9m compared to €141.8m a year earlier.

In France, during the first quarter, GGR increased by 22.2 per cent, reaching €153.8m for all types of games.Slots were up 19.1 per cent, Table Games were up 24.8 per cent and Electronic Games were up 42.4 per cent.

Abroad, GGR increased by13.4 per cent, reaching €18.1m. Swiss online games progressed by 25.4 per cent compared to the previous year.

The operator said: “The first quarter 2023 takes into account a scope effect linked in particular to the sale on January 31 2022 of the stake held in the Crans-Montana casino, which generated GGR of €2.4m in the first quarter 2022 and €3.7m in the first quarter 2020, and the entry into the Group’s fold of the Middelkerke Casino as from July 1 2022, with an opening on July 8 2022 after some refurbishment works it generated GGR of € 0.7m in the first quarter 2023).
