G2E – Heber showing ultra fast gaming with Pluto A400

By - 17 September 2016

At this year’s G2E, Heber will be demonstrating its Pluto A400 and T100 PC gaming platforms on AMD’s stand (3909).

The Pluto A400 is a high end gaming engine that together with the plug-in X10e gaming I/O card provides a powerful small form-factor gaming machine for the casino, bingo and street gaming markets. The A400 uses AMD’s Embedded R-series SOC processor and high performance third-gen Graphics Core Next GPU architecture with superior x86 64-bit CPU core processing speed.

The Pluto A400 supports three display ports, DDR4 memory, seven USB ports, four serial ports, high definition audio, dual SATA drives and dual mSATA sockets with hardware RAID capability, and two Gigabit LAN ports. In addition, the Pluto A400 provides a PCIe x16 graphics expansion slot and a Heber-defined proprietary I/O slot connector that supports a range of Heber USB and PCIe gaming I/O products including new X50e, X10e and X5e.

The plug-in X10e card implements all the features of the highly successful X10i USB gaming standalone I/O card. The low cost X5e implements a subset of the X10e features and is targeted at entry-level gaming platforms. The new X50e uses a PCIe interface and supports up to 12M bytes of high speed battery backed memory and 256K bytes of serial FRAM memory. The Pluto T100 is a fanless Mini-ITX platform based on AMD’s Embedded G-Series “Steppe Eagle” processor and together with the X10i or entry-level X4i USB gaming I/O cards provides the perfect solution for the video lottery terminal, bingo, and street gaming markets.
