G2e Las Vegas – Digideal to serve up Automated Virtual Attendant

By - 25 September 2012

DigiDeal will be unveiling its new DTS-A (Digital Table System- Automated) platform and the AVA (Automated Virtual Attendant) system at G2e Las Vegas, its most versatile platform yet.

It is a combination of DigiDeal’s DTS-X and DTS-V platforms and is loaded with new features that make game play more efficient and convenient for casino operators and more fun for players. The new 5-player platform allows operators to switch between multiple game themes and fits in the same compact footprint of a standard BlackJack table. Each player position features a 15″ touch screen that intuitively leads players through game play. Each position is equipped with multiple language options and its own bill validator, ticket printer, and individual player tracking. The DTS-A has a large host screen in the center that allows better visibility for players.

The DTS-A can be configured to use a live host or can be fully automated with no host at all. It also interfaces with outputs from live casino elements such as real cards from a smart shoe or a roulette wheel.

For the ultimate in a standalone game system, there’s AVA. AVA is the perfect “Automated Virtual Attendant” that can be paired with the DTS-A. AVA offers multiple host appearance options and languages. These friendly and energetic hosts are always on duty, welcoming players to the table, responding to game situations and outcomes, and supporting players throughout game play. Operators can select from a set of background displays or customize their own. AVA keeps track of important game statistics; displaying which bonus bets are enabled, and daily game play highlights. For special occasions the AVA unit can be moved away from the table so the casino can place a real host or dealer in its place.

Luke Kuhn, DigiDeal’s Latin America Sales Manager adds, “This platform takes all of the best elements from our previous platform models and combines them into one exceptional product truly unlike any other available on the market. It has taken years of development experience in the electronic table segment to create a product of this calibre and we are delighted to be able to showcase it at this year’s G2e.”

The group will also be showing its new mobile game app, Pocket Pickit Poker, which can be downloaded from both the iTunes App Store and the Google Play/Android Market.

The app is a five card stud poker game played against a dealer’s hand and features three exciting side bets. Before playing against the dealer, players get to use their ESPP (Extra Sensory Picking Perception) to choose which two cards to reveal and a chance to win big with each pick. Other exciting features which make this game so addictive are multiple awards, achievement levels, and if the players log into Facebook their friends’ profile photo will appear on the card backs.

Pocket Pickit Poker is the mobile version of DigiDeal’s popular electronic table game Pikit Poker available on their DTS-C and V platforms approved for installation in casinos around the world. “We didn’t just want to create another mobile poker game. We wanted a unique card game with poker elements and something the consumer hasn’t seen before,” said Don Evans, Senior VP of Engineering at DigiDeal Corporation.

In the next few months DigiDeal’s game development teams will be releasing a new Pocket Pickit Poker update based on users’ feedback with new fun elements as well as a version without advertisements. Other exciting DigiDeal mobile game themes are in development and are scheduled for release in the coming year.
