APEX Gaming is now the majority shareholder of Bally Wulff Holding with Thomas Niehenke, current Managing Director of Bally Wulff becoming co-shareholder.
The negotiations have been successfully concluded and Ulrich Schmidt is pleased to have an ideal partner at the side of Bally Wulff Games & Entertainment GmbH in the APEX Group under the leadership of Johannes Weissengruber.
“The outstanding cooperation opportunities with APEX will ensure that Bally Wulff continues to be an important and successful market player with creative ideas. I would like to expressly thank the employees and exhibitors for the successes of the past and wish all those involved the best for the future,” said former shareholder Ulrich Schmidt.
The acquisition of Bally Wulff Games & Entertainment by the APEX Group offers both companies excellent prospects. The strengths of both companies complement each other perfectly and ensure that Berlin can be further expanded. There are only slight overlaps in the markets and business areas. The APEX Group is extremely successful in the worldwide casino markets and Bally Wulff in the street markets of Germany and Spain.
“I am proud to shape the further development of the traditional Bally Wulff brand together with the motivated employees of Bally Wulff in a future-oriented way. There are numerous and good approaches to how both companies can complement each other, develop positively and market-oriented. We will succeed in leveraging the strengths of both companies for the markets,” said Johannes Weissengruber, founder and managing director of the APEX Group.
Thomas Niehenke, shareholder and managing director of Bally Wulff Games & Entertainment GmbH, is looking forward to working with the APEX Group. “The APEX Group is the partner of choice. Both companies are characterized by the commitment and the will to succeed of the employees. Innovations, quality and service orientation will continue to be the key success factors of Bally Wulff in the future,” said Niehenke.
