Germany – Bally Wulff to relocate to two new premises in Berlin

By - 25 April 2018

Berlin-based Bally Wulff will be relocating to two new sites in Berlin over the next two months.

The company has achieved significant growth in recent years on both the German and international markets. This
has created a need for additional space to accommodate the ever-growing number of team members based at the company’s
headquarters in the German capital. Change is also needed to meet the requirements of a modern production and logistics environment.

In recent years, the enormous success of the innovative gambling machines from Bally Wulff has resulted in steady growth for the company. After more than 50 years on Maybachufer by the river, the long-established company is now relocating to two modern sites in the south of Berlin that better meet its current requirements.

The move is being coordinated by a 14-strong team who have been working hard for months to plan the relocation. To minimise the impact on day-to-day work, the move will take place in stages. The relocation will be complete by mid-May.

Having larger premises will make it possible to significantly optimise processes, especially in order management, logistics, production and technical service. This month, these departments are moving to a highly efficient, specially designed new build in the Rudow area of the city with 10,000 m² of floor space.

Employees in development, marketing, product management, sales and administration will be moving into a modern head office covering just under 4500 m² in the Tempelhof area.

The relocation also provides an opportunity to replace the entire IT infrastructure. Two new high-performance data centres will enable the company to respond to all the challenges of tomorrow and be optimally prepared for further growth.

Ulrich Schmidt, spokesperson for the partners of Bally Wulff, said: “The relocation is an investment in the future. We’re looking forward to working even more effectively, flexibly and productively in this creative, highly efficient environment to achieve success for our customers and take our own growth to the next level.
