Germany – Best croupier in Germany named at first German Dealer Championship at Casino Schenefeld

The best croupier in Germany was crowned at the first German Dealer Championship at Casino Schenefeld to great applause and a shower of golden confetti.
Tobias Hellberg, a 34-year-old former Kiel and now Schenefeld croupier, used his home advantage and prevailed in a strong field of participants after two exciting days of competition in the grand final.
A total of 22 croupiers from 11 state-licensed casino companies competed against each other in various disciplines of the classic casino games roulette and blackjack. In several 15-minute rounds of competition, the croupiers demonstrated their skills in terms of hospitality, technical skills and game control. They were evaluated by jurors from other federal states who, for example, train croupiers in their everyday work or manage the gaming in their casinos.
In several side events, the croupiers were also able to demonstrate their extraordinary skills in even more detail: In competitions such as Best Chipper, Best Card Handler and Best Mathematician, they presented the speed, elegance and demanding requirements of their profession.
In addition to the trophy, title and a prize pool of over 10,000 euros, the first and second place winners won a ticket to the European Dealer Championship in Brussels, where they will represent Germany in June 2023.
The German Dealer Championship was held in Germany for the first time and is to be continued annually at different locations. Special thanks go to the German Casino Association (DSbV e.V.) and the company E-Systems GmbH for providing the prize money as well as to the company Spielfrucht GmbH for sponsoring the competition gaming tables.
