Germany – Casino Baden-Baden honouring employees for 465 years of services

Casino Baden Baden is honouring 20 of its long-standing employees who together have 465 years of service to the casino.

“Our employees at roulette, in the slot machine, at the reception, the cash register, the building services and in marketing are the soul of the casino all bring the traditions of our casino to life,” said Otto Wulferding, Managing Director of the Baden-Württembergische Spielbanken Gesellschaft, at a ceremony and a three-course menu in the casino restaurant THE GRILL.

Along with Thomas Schindler, Director of Casino Baden-Baden and Constance Richter, Head of Slot Games, the casino honored 20 employees for 35, 25 and 10 years of service to the workforce.

Mr. Schindler said: “Long-term employees are pillars of our casino. Skilled workers are the most important resource of our time. They are the clever minds and helping hands at the roulette, at the machine and also the face of the house at the cash register and the reception.”

The appreciation for 35 years of service at Casino Baden-Baden was given to the croupiers Arno Ernst, Markus Neff, Uwe Müller, Michael Jung, Michael Spitz as well as Andreas Wörle, Kasse and Elisabeth Riedinger from the reception.

In 1997, the croupiers Bernd Ernst, Patrick Gutte, Stefan Müller, Irene Gantner as well as Ute Fuchs, Head of Marketing and the in-house technician Volker Hoff, joined meaning they’ve been around for a quarter of a century.

In 2012, croupiers Boris Moosmann, Steven Salter and Rouven Bertsch as well as division manager Kay Dannenberg all joined. Silvia Merkle, Andreas Koffler and Maximilian Lampe have worked the slot machines for ten years.
