Germany – Dominik Seel to become new CEO at HESS

On November 1, 2020, the previous CFO Dominik Seel will take over the chairmanship of the management of HESS Cash Systems as the new CEO. The long-standing CEO Ulrich Bauer will retire on October 31, 2020.

Ulrich Bauer successfully steered the fortunes of the HESS Group for 14 years. In the position of CEO , he positioned the company’s services on the market and set the strategic course for the future direction of HESS .

“I would like to thank Mr. Bauer warmly for the work he has done. On behalf of the entire management board, I wish him all the best in his new life,” said Lars Felderhoff, member of the management board at Gauselmann AG, the parent company of HESS.

The designated CEO Dominik Seel joined the Magstadt-based company as CFO in 2019 . Before that, the 47-year-old business graduate was CFO of a medium-sized mechanical engineering company. “Dominik Seel has quickly familiarized himself with the HESS Group and is therefore optimally prepared for the challenges ahead. In his new position, he will, among other things, drive the company’s further development into a digital solution provider. We wish him every success in his role as CEO , ”explains Lars Felderhoff.

Ulrich Bauer will hand over the activities for which he is responsible to Dominik Seel in the remaining time, so that the smooth continuation of business activities can be guaranteed. “I would like to thank Mr. Bauer for the trustful cooperation in the management, his collegial support and the good induction, and I look forward to successfully developing the company together with all employees at home and abroad,” said Dominik Seel.
