Germany – Dual leadership takes over the management of Merkur Casino Bad Oeynhausen
By Phil - 10 August 2023
A new management model has been put in place at the helm of Merkur Casino Bad Oeynhausen with long-term director Joachim Pollok and Beatrix Pikus now responsible for the management of the renowned casino as a duo.
With this strategic decision, the casino operator is responding to the constantly growing requirements and tasks in the management of the casino. The casino in East Westphalia has recorded a continuous increase in visitor numbers in recent years and, thanks to its modern entertainment offerings including major live events, has a supra-regional appeal.
“With Mr. Pollok and Ms. Pikus, we have found an excellent dual leadership for our house in Bad Oeynhausen. Both are united by their expertise and passion for the gambling gaming industry. We create synergy effects, as different areas of expertise from the technical and commercial areas are interlinked, so that there is an optimal balance between proven success concepts and innovative ideas,” explainsed David Schnabel, Managing Director of Merkur Spielbanken NRW.
Beatrix Pikus has had a long career as an employee at the corporate headquarters of Merkur Spielbanken NRW, where she most recently worked as Head of Central Purchasing. She has extensive knowledge of the various aspects of the economic operation of a casino and is now bringing her experience to Bad Oeynhausen. There she will meet Joachim Pollok, an experienced colleague who has already held various management positions at Merkur Casino Bad Oeynhausen. Since 2007, he has been responsible for the fortunes of the casino as director.
“Together with our highly motivated team, we are looking forward to presenting all guests with an excellent range of entertainment and services,” says the casino management, looking forward to the future with confidence. And the to-do list for the management duo is not short: Next year marks the 25th anniversary of the Merkur Casino Bad Oeynhausen at the Werre-Park site. Preparations for the spectacular festival have already begun.
