Germany – Gauselmann celebrates 30 year anniversary for plant manager

By - 7 June 2021

Plant manager Hans Martin Grube is celebrating 30 years with the Gauselmann Group.

The production plant in Lübbecke occupies a special position within the Gauselmann Group. Around 1,100 employees ensure that almost 50,000 state-of-the-art gaming machines roll off the production line there every year. As production manager, Mr. Grube ensures that the entire structure works like clockwork.

The 55-year-old is considered a down-to-earth and a humble team player who takes time for the needs of the workforce.

“My job is to create good framework conditions for our employees so that production runs,” he explained. “This includes coordination with many interface areas – from development to sales and service.”

Mr. Grube began his career in the Gauselmann Group on June 1, 1991. The graduate engineer in the field of production technology started as an assistant to Wilfried Berkenbrink, the then Managing Director of adp Gauselmann GmbH, a subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group. In 1999, Hans Martin Grube initially took over production management before he was appointed to the management of adp production in 2012, where he is still active today.

“What appeals to me about my position is the variety of topics,” he said.

Mr. Grube brings people and technology together. He is responsible for the workforce as well as for the innovative products and the cooperation with the specialist departments. Digitization has changed the production process significantly over the past few decades. IT processes now shape the workflow. The technology and design of the devices have become more and more demanding, the variety of games has increased sharply with the increasing importance of software. One of the greatest challenges at the moment is to reconcile the sometimes spontaneous customer demands with the long delivery times for the procurement of device components.

“And to ensure continuity and efficiency in this area of conflict,” Mr. Grube explained.

What he values about the Gauselmann Group, in addition to the good cooperation, is the development opportunities and the freedom that is granted to him. “Combined with the wealth of ideas in the group of companies, these are the best conditions for good performance and good work results,” he explained.

A spokesperson for Gauselmann said: “The board of directors of Gauselmann AG and the management warmly congratulate Hans Martin Grube on his anniversary at work and would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his commitment and loyalty to the company. Superiors and all colleagues, as well as the works council responsible for the Lübbecke production plant, join in with these congratulations.
