Germany – Gauselmann Group looks forward to record number of anniversaries in 2021

By - 23 December 2020

Despite the ongoing lockdown, the Gauselmann Group is looking forward to the year 2021 with confidence.

Company founder and CEO Paul Gauselmann is particularly pleased with the extraordinary loyalty and identification of his employees. In 2021 alone, a total of 433 employees will celebrate anniversaries of various lengths, having worked for the company for between ten and 45 years, marking a total of 7,325 years of service.

Mr. Gauselmann said: “We will overcome this difficult phase and then build on the successful times before the pandemic. It is very important to the company patriarch that the top management has been doing everything possible since the beginning of the lockdown to preserve each of the 14,000 jobs even in this historically difficult time. We will all come through this bottom of the valley together and keep the company on the road to success together. Because it was only thanks to the enthusiasm and drive of my employees that we were able to be so economically successful before the lockdown.”

In 2021, a total of 291 employees will be employed for ten years, 45 employees for 25 years, 60 employees for 30 years, 35 employees for 40 years and two employees even for 45 years of service will be honoured. Many of the jubilees have spent their entire professional career with the game maker and, especially in times like these, are happy that the top management is so committed to the workforce.

“This pronounced identification with the company makes me really proud. It was always important to me that the employees feel comfortable – and I am pleased that this is apparently the case,” Mr. Gauselmann added.
