Germany – Gauselmann names Jens Halle as CEO at Merkur Gaming

Just a few months after leaving his position as s Managing Director of Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH and CEO of Novomatic Americas Sales, Jens Halle has assumed the responsibility for international sales and distribution activities as CEO at the Gauselmann Group subsidiary Merkur Gaming as of January 1 2015.

In this top management position at Merkur Gaming, the 56 year-old will in future promote the consolidation and expansion of games systems ‘made by Merkur’ in global markets.

The Gauselmann Group has enlarged its management team with a true industry veteran in Jens Halle., who looks back on a total of 26 successful years in the international casino business.

“Mr. Halle’s long-standing focus on the global casino business has enabled him to have the right vision with such experience so as to further develop our products mainly overseas outside of Europe in a truly sustainable way. We have gained an esteemed expert who will continue our growth from the past years and indeed further expand this”, stated Paul Gauselmann, Chairman of the Gauselmann Group, and Jürgen Stühmeyer, Sales Director of the Gauselmann Group.

The scope of Jens Halle’s responsibility predominantly covers the consolidation and strengthening of business activities in already established markets alongside pushing into potential new markets as well.

“I have been able to establish a long-standing relationship with the Gauselmann entrepreneurial family through my activities thus far in the industry. I am now all the more looking forward to the promising collaboration at Merkur Gaming. The development know-how and the long-standing wealth of experience at the Gauselmann Group offer great potential and diverse development opportunities for our partners abroad,” Mr Halle said.
