Germany – Lars Rogge becomes the new chairman of the management board at VDAI

The board of the Association of the German Machine Industry Association (VDAI) has appointed Lars Rogge as chairman of the management with effect from January 1, 2021. Until December 31, 2020, Lars Rogge is chairman of the management board of member company Bally Wulff from Berlin and member of the executive board of the VDAI.

“I am delighted that we have been able to win Lars Rogge, a proven industry and association expert, for the VDAI ,” explains Manfred Stoffers, managing VDAI board member and director of marketing communication policy at Gauselmann AG. “In view of his decades of experience at all levels of the industry and in his work in various association committees, I am sure that Lars Rogge will shape the work of the VDAI in a future-proof manner in a rapidly changing environment.”
Lars Rogge is a vending machine entrepreneur in the 3rd generation at the operator level and has been involved in the past in addition to his position on the VDAI board of directors of several other industry associations and of the umbrella organization Die Deutsche Automatenwirtschaft eV (DAW).

“Lars Rogge is the ideal person for this position. With his creative drive and his experience in dialogue with politics as well as within the vending machine industry, Lars Rogge is a widely valued representative of the companies organized in the VDAI and their interests ”, said Dr. Daniel Henzgen, managing member of the VDAI board and member of the management of Löwen Entertainment GmbH.

Lars Rogge added: “It takes strength for change and the courage to innovate – the vending machine industry has demonstrated both in the past as well as its willingness to act responsibly in society. I would like to thank the board of directors for their trust and look forward to the cooperation within the umbrella association and with the members and employees of the VDAI. ”
