By - 7 August 2023

A 36-year-old LOTTO24 player from Hamburg, Germany today hit the next record jackpot this year, winning more than €117m.

This is the fourth time this year that LOTTO24 players have won a record jackpot: Back in January, a 61-year-old LOTTO24 player from Bremerhaven hit the €107.5m jackpot, and then in April a 63-year-old LOTTO24 player from Hamburg won €45m on LOTTO 6aus49. In addition, a 49-year-old LOTTO24 player from Bavaria hit the freiheit+ jackpot in May, winning €5,000 a month for the next 15 years and a one-off payment of €250,000.

The 36-year-old LOTTO24 customer has tipped the numbers 3, 17, 19, 32, 38 and the Euro numbers 6 and 7 for today’s draw. The total winnings amount to €117,242,385.80.

“We are very happy for our customer and proud that we were able to fulfill the big dream of winning the lottery for several of our customers with record jackpots within such a short period of time,” says Jonas Mattsson, CFO of LOTTO24 AG. The Eurojackpot is a lottery in which a total of 18 European countries participate. Players first pick “5 out of 50” numbers and then “2 out of 12” Euro numbers. Since a product change in March of this year, the jackpot can rise to as much as 120 million euros – previously the limit was 90 million euros. The draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday evening in Helsinki, Finland. Participation is possible at LOTTO24 or Tipp24, among others
