Germany – Merkur Casino Monheim welcomes 10,000 guests in its first week

Merkur Casino Monheim celebrated a grand opening week from May 11 to 17 with the seven-day Winner Week event.
Over the entire duration of the event, the casino registered 10,000 visitors – a gigantic success for the new entertainment house in Monheim.
“We are overwhelmed by the positive response we received from our guests during the ‘Winner Week’,” explained David Schnabel, Managing Director of Merkur Spielbanken NRW. The casino offers a modern range of games, first-class service and game-related live entertainment in a grandiose ambience. The ‘Winner Week’ was just the beginning.”
Already in the first days of the event, the casino thrilled thousands of guests with exciting game shows, attractive special playouts and live musical acts. The makers saved the big bang for the final day: Around 17,2 visitors flocked to Monheim for the game show “Auto-Alarm” on Wednesday, May 200. They were all eagerly awaiting the extravagant main prize – a BMW M3 Competition worth 115,000 euros. But it was not only the prospect of success of this luxury sleigh that sent the crowd of visitors in ecstasy in front of the show stage on the first floor of the casino: In the style of a fan singer in the football stadium, show host Lukas Sauer heated up the audience. In the heartbeat finale, a lucky winner finally opened the safe with the right number combination. With tears of joy in her eyes, she could hardly believe her luck.
Even though the “Winner Week” came to a crowning conclusion with this scene last Wednesday, the Merkur Casino Monheim is still the first port of call for all gambling enthusiasts in the Rhineland: On a total area of 4,800 square meters there are attractive jackpot facilities and a variety of state-of-the-art slot machines. Special accents are set by the 15 gaming tables for the casino classics roulette, blackjack and poker as well as two elegant bar areas. The event area, which is specially equipped for shows, was successfully inaugurated during Winner Week and will continue to be the home of breathtaking live entertainment in the near future.
