Germany – Spielbank Berlin celebrates its two-year anniversary at the Ku’damm location

By - 20 June 2023

Spielbank Berlin celebrated the two-year anniversary of its location on Kurfürstendamm with special playouts and an inspiring show programme.

The results so far speak for the attractiveness of the depandance on Berlin’s most popular shopping mile. A total of 350,000 guests have already been welcomed in the past two years. Especially on weekends, Berliners and tourists from all over the world meet in the noble ambience of the casino. This makes Kurfürstendamm the secondary location with the highest turnover of the four locations in Berlin.

Gerhard Wilhelm, Spokesman for the Management Board of Spielbank Berlin, said: “The opening of the location on Ku’damm in 2021 could not have been strategically more perfectly planned: the elaborate conversion of the former BMW house took place during the lockdown, so that the start of operations went smoothly with the lifting of restrictions in the summer.”

The wait was worth it: On 1,000 square meters, the casino offers a generous selection of games. Traditional table gaming is offered upstairs with two American Roulette tables, two Black Jack tables, an Ultimate Texas Hold’em and a Baccarat table. In addition, there are 40 TouchBet roulette stations. On the ground floor there are a total of 100 slot machines. A wide range of gastronomic offerings rounds off the visit experience in the new casino.

The operator added: “The fact that the casino in the City West offers a very special flair is also known to the capital’s celebrities. Again and again, personalities from sports, politics, business, culture and society come here to enjoy the panoramic view of the lively Kurfürstendamm in addition to the gaming experience on the first floor. The unanimous opinion also confirms the verdict of the tourism association, city marketing and AG City: The Spielbank Berlin on Kurfürstendamm has become an institution and a magnet for Berlin.”
