Germany – Westspiel relaunches its table games with protective screens

By - 19 June 2020

Traditional table games have made their comeback in the NRW casinos of Westspiel on June 19 with players in Aachen, Bad Oeynhausen, Dortmund and Duisburg once again able to play roulette, black jack and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.

Managing Director Jochen Braun said: “We have developed a far-reaching hygiene concept that guarantees a safe and exciting gaming experience for our guests and a safe workplace for our employees. Together as a team, we did this very well when the slot machine game reopened in our casinos. With the same care and the greatest sense of responsibility, we have adapted our offer to the new situation in the classic game as well.”

The four NRW locations of Westspiel are excellently equipped for the “restart” of the classic games. The new operating concept also includes compliance with the known distance and hygiene rules. In addition, protective screens have been attached to all gaming tables, which means that guests and employees have separate gaming and working areas at their disposal. Disinfection dispensers have been installed throughout the casino and the current regulations on the obligation to wear a mask also apply with the table games.
