Germany – WestSpiel to part company with Henning Thomas

WestSpiel has announced that Henning Thomas will be leaving his position on the board of directors only six months after having taken up the position.
The operator explained the reason as ‘strategic differences in the further planning and performance of WestSpiel.’
Mr. Thomas will be leaving the company on March 31. Both parties have agreed together on the termination of the contract. Mr. Thomas had been appointed on 1 October 2017 for a period of five years. The state-owned NRW.Bank is the 100 per cent owner of WestSpiel.
Westspiel operates the casinos in Aachen, Duisburg, Dortmund, Bad Oeynhausen and Bremen. The casino operator has been struggling financially with a loss of €2.9m.
