Holland – Merkur appoints YPEX in the Netherlands

Merkur Gaming has appointed YPEX as its distribution and service partner in the Netherlands, further strengthening Merkur Gaming’s strategic position in the country.
YPEX, based in Boxmeer, is well established in its home country with an experienced team., of which more than half is dedicated entirely to customer service. YPEX has made a name for itself in two particular market segments – change machines and kiddie rides. Here YPEX has built a long-standing working relationship with the Gauselmann Group, distributing and servicing GeWeTe change machines and Merkur kiddie rides.
“YPEX has proven itself a very reliable partner over the years,” explains Jürgen Stühmeyer, Management Board member in charge of Sales at the Gauselmann Group. “YPEX has key market knowledge in the Netherlands and this includes the gaming market. Through this partnership Merkur Gaming is even better positioned in the Dutch market and YPEX can diverse its product and service offering to gaming alongside change machines and kiddie rides. YPEX already works with key Dutch arcade operators which naturally offers excellent synergies for both Merkur Gaming and YPEX. YPEX has the storage capacity to respond to increases in demand for Merkur Gaming products. The team know-how will ensure a quick and smooth transition as the Merkur Gaming service and distribution partner in the Netherlands.
