ICE – iBrand launches new AWP platform

By - 20 January 2014

iBrand Gaming, specialist OEM solution provider, will release its new GC300 AWP platform, in conjunction with partner E2C, at the forthcoming ICE 2014 exhibition.

Designed specifically for street/AWP markets around the world, the GC300 is a fully featured ARM/RISC CPU gaming platform which supports all functions including LED/lamp drives, battery-backed SRAM, audio amplifier and game/board security features required in a reel-based AWP gaming cabinet.

The GC300 is designed to support all industry standard unipolar gaming reels with extensive reel control functions on both 48 step and 200 step reels.

The GC300 allows AWP designers to migrate to an ARM+Linux O/S based platform with minimal effort and enjoy all the benefits of a networked based platform and USB functionality.

The GC300 is controlled by e2c’s powerful iSocket/GDM single API middleware, supporting all standard gaming peripherals and protocols, GPIO and 512 discrete illumination controls.

“The GC300 AWP platform is an ideal addition to our product portfolio,” said Amy James, Sales & Marketing for iBrand Gaming. “And ICE 2014 is the perfect place for it to make its debut. The board will be on display on the E2C stand , N2-120, and we will have representatives available from both iBrand Gaming and E2C.”
