ICE – nanocosmos to present new ABR support to nanoStream Cloud

By - 22 January 2020

At ICE 2020, nanocosmos will be presenting the new Adaptive Bitrate (ABR) support to its nanoStream Cloud, including nanoStream H5Live Player for interactive live streaming with ultra-low latency at stand N9-744.

nanoStream Cloud is a unique ultra-low-latency (ULL) solution to deliver live games at an extremely quick rate. Players can enjoy these games wherever they may be – with a video transmission delay of around 1 second, ULL live streaming from nanocosmos can be played on any device, thus on laptop, tablet or mobile phone (including Safari on iOS).

Following the recent launch of the transcoding feature, at ICE 2020 nanocosmos will introduce the new ABR support for its unique nanoStream H5Live Player, included in nanoStream Cloud. With the new release, gaming platforms and operators will be able to send streams with different video qualities and the H5Live Player will decide which of them to play, to accommodate the network situations and avoid buffering and frame drops. This means your audience and players around the globe will watch the best stream for their internet connection, avoiding interruptions and creating a better experience.

nanoStream Cloud is simple to integrate as a white label product with no additional streaming server or infrastructure required. A live camera source can easily be connected to nanoStream Cloud. Alongside nanoStream H5Live Player, nanoStream Cloud also includes nanoStream ULL CDN – a global Content Delivery Network for live video streams; optional transcoding services, and nanoStream Analytics for data insights and Quality of Service, including all data referring to the new ABR. It is highly secure and extremely fast thanks to the combination of software, cloud services and player that together shape a robust live streaming solution.
