ICE – SBTech invites operators to join #THEBIGLEAGUE after record year

By - 31 January 2020

SBTech will ‘set the tone’ for 2020 at ICE London, where it will be inviting sports betting and gaming partners to ‘GO BIG’ and join #THEBIGLEAGUE.

2019 proved a record year for the company with some of the industry’s largest sportsbook, iGaming and lottery operators coming on board with the company. It now supplies its sports betting platform to more than 50 tier-one operators across more than 15 regulated markets. 2020 has started at a similar pace with a recent deal with Argyll Entertainment, enabling the multi-brand operator to leverage SBTech’s cutting-edge technology and continue its sustained growth in the UK and Europe.
A long-term, multi-jurisdiction sportsbook platform partnership with Malta-based Genesis Global, marks the start of an exciting new venture for Genesis Global, as it launches a sports betting offering for the first time.

SBTech has a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, and powers some of fastest growing and best performing casino operators in Europe; including Virgin Bet, Moplay, Mansionbet, 10Bet and Sportnation.

A recent deal with Nolimit City will see SBTech go love with titles such as Tombstone, Manhattan Goes Wild, Casino Win Spin, Oktoberfest and Creepy Carnival, to name just a few, all of will be introduced to the SBTech’s partner network in early 2020.

A deal to supply the on-property sportsbook at Rising Star Casino in Indiana under Churchill Downs’ BetAmerica brand, marks the sixth US state SBTech has entered into in less than 18 months, signifying the company’s rapid growth in the US market.

The BetAmerica sportsbook at Rising Star Casino offers state of the art self-service sports betting kiosks, as well as cashiers and a full bar. It is anticipated that the kiosks will drive a significant portion of the volume and will be quickly adopted by players, as they have in other states. The on-property launch will soon be followed by the launch of SBTech’s proprietary on-line and mobile sports betting platform.

SBTech’s Indiana launch follows on the heels of SBTech’s successful launch of the Oregon State Lottery’s Scoreboard app just a few weeks ago. Since PASPA was struck down last year, SBTech has quickly established itself as a market-leading sports betting and i-gaming supplier in the US, cementing partnerships with premier operators such as Churchill Downs, Golden Nugget, Resorts Casino Hotel, and the Oregon State Lottery, among others.

A deal with Draft Kings and Diamond Eagle Acquisition looks to have secured SBTech’s future in the US. The combined entity will become the only vertically-integrated pure-play sports betting and online gaming company based in the United States.

The company’s global strategy will see it enter new markets such as South Africa and Latin America.

The join #THEBIGLEAGUE messaging this year reflects how far SBTech has come as a business, the scale of tier one operators it is partnering with, and how far it has taken its partners, propelling them to record revenues across global regulated markets.
