Infiniti opens its sixth casino this time in Grasse
The Grasse casino in the Alpes-Maritimes region of France held its official inauguration last week, following its closure in August 2023, and subsequent takeover by the Infiniti Casino group.
Becoming the sixth casino in the group’s empire, it offers 50 slot machines, 20 electronic English roulette stations and a Black Jack table, employing a team of 25 to 30. It also features two bars and a 30 seat restaurant with around 120 additional seats on a raised terrace which will allow guests a view of the Mediterranean.
The reopening of what was the 199th casino in France based on revenue two years ago was witnessed by a host of digniataries, including Jérôme Viaud, the Mayor of Grasse, the Sub-Prefect of Grasse Jean-Claude GENEY, Lionel TIVOLI Member of Parliament, Jurgen De Munck President of Infiniti Casino Grasse, Serge KAWKA Administrator, Sandrine Folcher Director of the Casino, Jean RAGIONIERI member of the Management Committee, Simon Daragon, Ludovic Sanchez Mayor of the Mas, and many other elected officials and committed partners.
Jérôme Viaud, the Mayor of Grasse said: “This is a highlight for our city. This reopening is the culmination of an intense mobilization to preserve this activity, which is essential to the dynamism of our historic center. Thanks to the investment of more than €2m by the Infiniti group, the casino has been completely renovated and modernised, offering Grasse residents and visitors a new quality entertainment space.
“A big thank you to France Travail, Mrs. Pascale Puig and Corinne RICHET, whose commitment has enabled the recruitment and training of 25 local job seekers. We would also like to pay tribute to the work of the municipal teams, in particular Valérie Copin, Karine Gigodot, Pierre-Olivier LEHEMBRE, Olivier GIRARDEAU and Helene Roubaud, who have worked tenaciously on this issue.
