Ireland – GGNetwork hails landmark deal with Tain

By - 12 September 2016

GGNetwork has struck its first major partnership in Europe by sealing a deal to supply online poker games to Tain Network, the renowned software and solutions provider.

GGNetwork’s poker platform will be distributed to all of Tain’s licensees, who have traditionally demonstrated a huge appetite for online poker.

The deal is a major coup for GGNetwork, which operates the fastest-growing network in the world of poker.

According to GGNetwork spokesman Hilly Ehrlich, the agreement signals the latest evidence of online poker’s revival.

“This is a very exciting time for us and it is a big honour to be joining forces with such an experienced, outstanding, branded platform as Tain,” he said. “We look forward to re-activating and hosting all the poker followers on Tain Network with a style and flavour of poker that everyone will enjoy.”

Several more partnerships are in the pipeline for GGNetwork, which has offices in Dublin, London and the British Virgin Islands, but the Tain agreement heralds a milestone in Europe.

Tain, which was acquired by XIN Gaming in July, is one of the leading names in the industry, having launched its first sportsbook back in 1999 and expanded its offering since then to include a betting exchange and casino, poker and bingo games.

Tain CEO Mathias Larsson added: “We are proud to be the first major European partner for GGNetwork. Poker used to represent a significant sector for Tain operators before its decline. However, we do not believe that the downturn was due to people falling out of love with poker; it was because the poker networks simply were not good enough and allowed certain brands to take over the market. Now, though, Tain will once again be able to offer world-class poker to its operators and I am sure it will be a massive success.”
