Isle of Man – Games Global officially launches

Microgaming has finalised the sale of its’ distribution business and online games portfolio to Games Global Limited.

Under the deal, Games Global has acquired ownership of an extensive back catalogue of exclusive gaming content, and has also attained an extensive network of customers operating more than 900 global gaming brands.

With the sale closed, Microgaming will now focus on continuing to provide platform systems and services to online gaming brands, including Games Global and its customers.

The Isle of Man-based company will also continue to license its proprietary sports betting software to Betway whilst investing in and building on the technology.

Established in 2021, Games Global is led by CEO Walter Bugno, formerly of IGT and Lottomatica and CFO Tim Mickley, previously of SafeCharge and Playtech. The Games Global exemplary leadership team further includes Chief People and Transformation Officer Leila Goelz, Chief Operating Officer Theo Naicker, Chief Compliance Officer Kimberley Broad, Chief Product Officer Andrew Booth and Chief Revenue Officer Julie Allison.
