Isle of Man – Microgaming’s WowPot jackpot strikes again

By - 26 April 2021

Microgaming’s WowPot progressive jackpot has been hit for a second time in under a week, awarding a €2m+ Mega win through Sherlock & Moriarty WowPot.

A player in Belgium struck the jackpot for €2,025,388.75 at Napoleon Sports & Casino Online on 19 April 2021, just five days after WowPot awarded €17.5 million in its first-ever top-tier payout.

Marking the second-largest win on WowPot since it launched in February 2020, the seven-figure sum is also the biggest to be uncovered so far on Sherlock & Moriarty WowPot, which launched network-wide in late March 2021.

Six slots featuring a range of game worlds now feed into WowPot’s progressive prize pool, which has once again reset to its impressive €2m starting seed, while Microgaming’s Mega Moolah jackpot is climbing towards €18.5 million.

John Coleman, CEO at Microgaming, commented: “Remarkable to see a second hit on WowPot just days after the first! Sherlock & Moriarty is a beautifully crafted game by Just For The Win, and even though it launched network-wide less than a month ago, it has already awarded more than 58,000 wins across all jackpot tiers. My congratulations go to Napoleon and their player on this brilliant win.”

Tim De Borle, CEO at Napoleon Sports & Casino Online, added: “Our lucky player is on cloud nine and so are we! Jackpot games are an important and exciting asset in our portfolio, and we are delighted to have a great partner like Microgaming who provides these wonderful games. Let’s go for a new record.”
