Italy – Casino Campione d’Italia surpasses target earnings by 12 per cent with GGR of €42m

Casino Campione d’Italia has celebrated its first full year of operation since reopening, with revenues of €42m, 12 per cent higher than the target earnings as laid out in the agreements signed to reopen the property on January 26, 2022.
CEO Marco Ambrosini said: “We are very satisfied with this first year of activity, how things have evolved, how we have faced this challenge. The recovery plan is underway, the approval of the agreement has arrived, people have returned to the Casino di Campione and the entrances are constantly increasing. We trust in a 2023 of great satisfaction, certain of our commitment to improve more and more”.
The casino welcomed over 220,000 guests over the year with 67 per cent coming from Italy, 23 per cent coming from Switzerland and the remaining 10 per cent of visitors coming from other countries.
