By - 11 June 2019

Casino Admiral wants to open a second casino in Lichtenstein close to the border with Switzerland in Triesen.

ACE Casino Holding AG, the Novomatic-owned operator behind the existing Casino Admiral Ruggell in Lichtenstein, also wants to open a location in the former Intersport building on the Austrasse 6 in Triesen.

The concept was presented by representatives of ACE Casino Holding AG in front of the municipal council Triesen.
With all the applications being prepared, the construction of the casino could be approved by the relevant authorities by mid-June.

Birgit Wimmer, Vice President of ACE Casino Holding, said: “With Casino Admiral Ruggell, we have been operating in Liechtenstein for two years and would like to expand our offer in the country for strategic reasons.”

The Casino Admiral Triesen will be equipped with 80 slot machines, four gaming tables and a bar at a cost of around €3m.
Andrea Bickel, Managing Director of Casino Admiral Ruggell, added: “In Ruggell we have been able to prove the high quality of our operations and how they cooperate with companies from the municipality.»

The casino would create around 35 new full-time jobs. The Casino Admiral Ruggell is currently the largest employer in the country’s northernmost municipality with 111 employees.
