Lichtenstein – Maximus to be Lichtenstein’s seventh casino

Liechtenstein’s sixth casino will open next year on Zollstrasse in Schaan and will be called Maximus.

The opening in Schaan is planned for the end of February by operator MCL Resorts owned by Anton Schmid who is keeping a lid on the concept of what the the new casino will look like. Schmid does not yet have a license to operate gambling although he has submitted the application.

The casino’s website states: “Surrounded by a magical mountain backdrop, the Maximus Casino Schaan unites stories of happiness in an elegant atmosphere. We believe in the magic of enthusiasm to create moments that will be remembered. We invite you on a glamorous journey into the world of happiness far away from everyday life.”

With a seventh casino planned for Vaduz at the former Real Restaurant, the tiny land mass of Liechtenstein will have have one of the world’s highest casino densities.
