Lithuania – Lithuanian gambling enjoys 26 per cent increase

Gambling revenue in Lithuania boomed by 26.1 per cent year-on-year, reaching €55.3m in the first quarter with land-based recording an increase of 10 per cent.
Online gambling increased by 36 per cent year-on-year to hit €36.6m with the bulk of this, €23.1m, being generated by Category A online slots whilst Category B slots brought in €979,987. Online table games generated €2.9m. Online betting revenue came in at €9.6m.
In land-based, Category B slot machines produced the lion’s share with €8m in revenue whilst Category A slots generated €3.8m. Table games accounted for €4.4m whilst sports betting brought in €2.5m. Lottery revenue increased by nine per cent to €14.3m.
