L&W’s Cosmic performance in France
At the start of April Light & Wonder launched its Cosmic Upright cabinet to the EMEA market during a spectacular event staged at the Kasino Larmor-Plage in France. As a continuation of the COSMIC series, this cabinet is designed to enhance player immersion through modern design and advanced technology. Its standout feature is a 49-inch Ultra HD 4K curved main display – the largest to date on a Light & Wonder upright cabinet – providing a versatile canvas for new and popular game titles.
With both aesthetics and functionality in mind, Cosmic Upright incorporates refined finishes, LED lighting accents, and a sleek form factor aimed at improving visual impact and player comfort. The cabinet also introduces an upgraded iDeck, featuring a larger interface, dual bash buttons for increased interaction, and an embedded inductive charging pad to accommodate mobile devices.
Additional enhancements include a multi-channel audio system for an enriched sound experience and a next-generation processor, which delivers smooth gameplay and dynamic graphic performance. From an operational perspective, Cosmic Upright has been engineered for ease of installation and service, using the same player-tracking mount found in previous Light & Wonder models like the TwinStar J43 and Kascada, eliminating the need for special tools or kits.
The cabinet will feature a lineup of engaging titles such as Dancing Drums Link, Invaders Attack Again from the Planet Moolah, Ultimate Fire Link Triple Nova, and Huff N’Puff High Rise, all selected to support consistent player engagement across a variety of gaming environments.

The first regional installation of Cosmic Upright took place on April 3 at Casino Larmor-Plage in France. The venue hosted a stunning launch event marking the debut of Cosmic Upright in the EMEA region. Activities included a full-day installation, buffet service, champagne toast, and themed giveaways for guests.
