Malta – Altenar scales in Bulgaria, Kenya and Peru

Altenar is to power PalmsBet’s global operations in a deal that bolsters its standing as one of the leading tech providers in Europe. The key focus of the agreement centres on Bulgaria, in which PalmsBet is a major operator in the market, with over 20,000 sporting events on offer. The operator group has a partnership with La Liga, highlighting the brand’s strength in football betting across Europe.
In addition, Altenar is set to scale PalmsBet’s Africa operations, which went live in Kenya in December, with Peru set to follow in April this year. As part of the deal, PalmsBet will also be given access to Altenar’s sports betting and virtual sports offering.
Commenting on the agreement, George Mavridis, Commercial Account Manager at Altenar, said: “This deal with PalmsBet is truly exciting given that Bulgaria is a market full of potential in terms of sports betting and incredibly exciting demographics. Having gone live in Kenya with PalmsBet, the move to the Balkan region for us opens many doors and there is definitely scope to move into new markets in the future.”
