Mexico – EGT completes first installs in Mexico with 1,000s more to follow

Euro Games Technology has completed its first installs in Mexico, delivering 36 P-24/24 Up slot cabinets to seven gaming establishments owned by Caliente.

The Mexican operator has over 6,000 machines in operation across Mexico and also manages the first online casino in the country, as well as bingo and sports betting halls with live greyhound and horse racing simulcast.

The installed P-24/24 Up cabinet is EGT’s best performing product globally with its rich Premier multigame mixes Multi-3, 4, 5, and 6, each of which includes over 40 diverse gaming titles.

EGt is now installed in Caliente’s Carrusel, Ensenada, Calimax and Hipodromo casinos in Tijuana, Morelia, Nogales and Revolution.
One player said: “There are only four of these slots in the casino I go to and there should be more because now I have to get there early on the weekends to find one available.”

Caliente is already negotiating the next delivery of over 100 EGT cabinets to its properties in the beginning of 2017.

Nadia Popova, director of EGT Central America and Mexico, said: “Multigame and multi-denomination products are very popular in the country and bearing in mind that EGT is specializes in this kind of machine, we believe we can offer great diversity to the local audience. Our Premier series is expected to perform in an outstandingly.”

Mexico with its 90,000 gaming machines is one of the fastest growing markets in Latin America and is among the priorities in EGT’s growth strategy. After being well accepted in the neighboring countries, the company wants its products to reap the same success on Mexican casino floors. Mrs. Popova has already inked several contracts with other important operators in Mexico for the installation of more 2,000 cabinets across the country, 500 of them to be delivered in January, 2017.
