Mexico – Ferreira joins Merkur Gaming Mexico

Merkur Gaming Mexico has announced the appointment of Ronnie Ferreira (49) as the company’s General Manager. A longstanding gaming industry professional, Ferreira brings to his new role over 15 years of executive experience in both the manufacturer and operator segments of the gaming industry.
Born in Brazil and now resident in Mexico City, Ronnie Ferreira is a highly respected figure in the international gaming industry. A specialist in both operations and manufacturer representation at a leadership level, he has worked in his native Brazil, USA, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Boliva and most extensively in Mexico. Best known for his positions with the Ritzio Group and the leading Class II manufacturer Cadillac Jack (where has was General Manager from 2007 to 2011) Ronnie Ferreira has extensive experience in start-ups, acquisitions and developments of casino industry businesses.
As an active member of the Brazilian Association of Gaming and also a co-founder of a leading gaming association in Mexico and together with operator Palacio de Los Numeros, Ferreira is a strong advocate of effective gaming regulation and its positive benefits for tourism, jobs creation and the development of gaming within the wider entertainment industry.
