Partouche records strong start to the year with 5.6 per cent increase

Groupe Partouche enjoyed a strong first quarter from November 2024 to January 2025 with the opening of Casino Royal Palm at Palm Beach, Cannes, helping boost Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) to €182.9m, compared to €173.2m, representing an increase of 5.6 per cent.

There has been further good news from Cannes with Partouche buying 80 per cent of Casino Les Princes from Jesta Fontainebleau on February 28 2025. The venue will be rebranded Casino Partouche Cannes 50 Croisette and further anchors and strengthens the group’s Cannes strategy.

In France, Partouche increased its first quarter activity by 5.9 per cent to €162.8m, compared to €153.8m a year earlier, driven by all forms of gaming with a 4.7 per cent increase for slot machines, a 7.5 per cent increase for non-electronic table games and an 11.7 per cent increase for electronic forms of gaming.

Abroad, GGR was up 3.6 per cent compared to the first quarter of 2024, reaching €20.1m, compared to €19.4m. The revenue of Swiss online games continued to grow with a 6.4 per cent increase over last year.

Further good news came from Paris with the reopening of the gaming clubs.

Partouche said: “After a closure of two months and following the publication of legal texts authorizing the reopening of Parisian gaming clubs, the Punto Club has been again welcoming the public since February 28, 2025. The Club obtained its operating license valid until December 31 2027, as well as its authorisation to transfer to its future premises at 10 avenue de la Grande Armée – Paris.”
