Philippines – New Year sees another record month at Okada Manila

January produced another record month of revenue at Okada Manila in the Philippines with GGR increasing 134 per cent year-on-year to Php3.84bn (US$73.7m).

The casino also recorded its best ever Adjusted segment EBITDA which in January increased by 683 per cent to Php565.9m

It was also a huge jump from just a month earlier with January’s total being 52.3 per cent more than December’s.

Universal Entertainment, the owner of the casino’s operating group Tiger Resort, said the property recorded solid increases across all gaming segments. VIP table revenue increased by 241 per cent whilst mass table gaming increased by 66.9 per cent. Slot revenue reached Php771m.

Universal said: “Volumes in VIP rolling, mass table drop and gaming machine handle remained strong as well. VIP rolling chips for the month, in particular, produced the highest rate of increase among the gaming segments that posted a record high.”
