Poland – Gauselmann makes play for Poland’s Totolotek

The Gauselmann Group has formed a joint venture company with TMT Investments called XTIP Polska with the aim of buying Poland-based operator Totolotek from Intralot.
Poland’s Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) confirmed it had received information detailing a takeover of Totolotek for an undisclosed fee.
Totolotek, who has more than 260 betting outlets across Poland, is the official sponsor of Polish football club Lechia Gdańsk, as well as the Polish Cup. It also supports the Legia Warsaw basketball team, as well as Polish volleyball champions PGE Skra Bełchatów.
