Romania – NMi applies for Romanian testing licence
By Phil - 20 April 2016
NMi has lodged its application for Class 2 licences, and the bank guarantee, required for it to be able to provide its services for Romania.
Andrew Rosewarne, NMi Director said: “We’re committed to deliver in Romania. Romania is set to become one of Eastern Europe’s most dynamic markets. Our regulatory team have a firm grasp of the requirements and we are in an excellent position to proceed when the approvals are granted later this month.
“The NGO made the decision to only accept companies on a solid financial footing and able to lodge a significant bond, and we are fortunate that NMi as a company is in the position where investment in new jurisdictions is not a problem,” he added. “NMi can be trusted to be there when you need us. We are pleased to have lodged our application for Class 2 licences, and the bank guarantee, required for us to be able to provide our services for Romania. It is the unwritten compact we have with our customers that we won’t leave them high and dry when new markets emerge, and Romania is no different for us.”
