Romania – NMi discusses its approach to Gaming Compliance Testing and Auditing in Romania

By - 11 August 2016

NMi’s Gaming Division will be exhibiting for the first time at Entertainment Arena Expo (EAE) in Romania from September 5 to 7 2016.

This announcement follows NMi becoming the first accredited lab in Romania when the ONJN (Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc) awarded Class 2 licences in April 2016, having already been active in the Romanian market conducting database audits for the ministry since 2014.

In booth #318 at EAE, NMi’s expert team will be on hand to discuss compliance testing requirements and the regulatory framework for operators and suppliers entering the Romanian market.

NMi’s Director, Andrew Rosewarne said: “NMi supports its customers where ever they want to go in the world, and we were delighted to have been the first lab into Romania. So the step we are taking this year to exhibit at the Entertainment Expo gives our customers, and those looking for support entering the Romanian market, the ideal opportunity to speak to the NMi team and establish a partnership that will not only serve their needs in Romania but within Eastern Europe and across the world.

“Our team at the Expo understand the complex requirements of the Romanian security audits and will discuss how NMi approach the specifics of Social Engineering. For us it’s about being where our customers need us to be, whether that’s in a new jurisdiction that they want to enter or indeed being present at the shows that matter to them.”

NMi’s Business Development Manager, Julian Borg-Barthet added: “NMi are excited to work in Romania and to exhibit at the Entertainment Expo – our customers know that we have the experience of a highly-qualified team, the flexibility of approach that meets our customer’s needs, and the capacity to meet the highly regulated requirements of the Romanian market. Increasing our attendance at shows in Eastern Europe gives us the ideal opportunity to meet with our customers and the people that are shaping these markets and discuss in person, not only how we operate in highly regulated jurisdictions, such as Romania; but our approach to customer service within online games testing, land-based games testing, lottery certification, and security audits – along with our breadth of worldwide coverage that NMi provide.”

With 40 years of experience in gaming, NMi provides independent auditing and testing of gaming equipment and software, and information security auditing to customers across the world, with offices in the United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, and the Netherlands.
