Romania – Relax granted Romania licence

By - 12 September 2016

Innovative platform provider Relax Gaming has become one of the first suppliers to be granted a licence in Romania.

The B2B supplier licence allows the Malta-based company to supply its casino games through its innovative Silver Bullet platform, as well as offering bingo and poker via its operating partners.
New licences came into effect in Romania on September 1, following a re-regulation of the rapidly expanding market.

Patrik Österåker, Relax Gaming’s CEO, said: “Moving into new regulated markets is a natural step for Relax and part of our growth strategy. We are very pleased to have been granted a licence in Romania, which is an attractive and growing market for us.

“The licence allows Relax to support our valued partners as they retain and grow their presence in this important jurisdiction.”
Silver Bullet is a gaming platform that allows simultaneous multi-channel game releases to maximise marketing impact and uptake. The platform further empowers operators with promotional features like feature triggers and next generation free spins.

It supports any client technology and contains a host of proprietary games, as well as the latest content from independent game studios, including Quickspin, Fuga Gaming, Push Gaming, Genesis Gaming, and Felt.

Currently licenced in the UK, Alderney, and Malta, Silver Bullet has a straight¬forward integration process and flexibility with API implementation, as well as a modern back office that provides sophisticated player reporting and management.

It is currently distributed to over 25 leading European operators, including Mr Green, Betsson and Unibet. In recent years it has also helped power the rapid expansion of award-¬winning Swedish slots supplier Quickspin.
