Singapore – Singapore’s casinos only open to double jabbed players

By - 15 October 2021

Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) in Singapore will have to ensure that anyone who is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is not allowed anywhere in the premises with groups limited to just two people.

The Ministry of Health announced the policy for proof of double vaccination on October 13 with its immediate introduction. Players will have to prove they have had their second jab of a World Health Organization-recognised vaccine at least two weeks before being allowed in.

Officials from Marina Bay Sands confirmed it would now be ‘open only to fully vaccinated individuals, in groups of up to two persons, aged 21 years and above. Individuals with a valid negative Pre-event Test (PET) result, or those with a valid exemption from PET, may be permitted entry if they meet all eligibility conditions.’

Resorts World Sentosa also confirmed: “The number of guests per group will be no more than the maximum allowed by current government restrictions.”
