Spain – New laws allow Cirsa to open round the clock in Valencia

By - 4 September 2015

Cirsa’s casino in Valencia has become the first in the whole of Spain to open on a 24 hour basis.

Cirsa in a statement noted that new regional rules regarding casinos in the region and the improvement of economic and tourism prospects in the city of Valencia convinced the company to maximise the hours of operation of the Valencia casino.

Cirsa stated: “The extended hours to 24 hours a day will provide a more complete service for both regular players and tourists, especially in Valencia, where there is not such a complete nightlife as major European capitals.”

With over 260,000 visitors, about 200 business events and more than 300 shows performed in 2014, the Valencia casino consolidated its position as the second most visited casino Spain in 2014, continuing in its position as a tourist and entertainment center in the city of Valencia. Now in its fifth year, 2015 has continued this trend. The first eight months of the year have seen more than 165,000 visitors, of which 32 per cent were foreign visitors, mainly from Italy, France, Bulgaria, Russia and China.
The gaming floor currently has 130 slots and electronic game stations and a dozen traditional tables, plus three restaurant areas and a nightclub.
