Spain – OKTO integrates cashless digital wallet with Jackpot Systems

OKTO has partnered with Jackpot Systems to introduce cashless gaming in casinos and gaming halls in Spain through the OKTO.WALLET.

The OKTO.WALLET mobile app enables users to pay and play fast and easy on Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) connected to Jackpot Systems across more than 300 venues in Spain.

Delivering fast time to market, OKTO’s solution is integrated with Jackpot Systems’ Casino Management System (CMS), and is operational, utilising Jackpot Systems existing installed solutions.

OKTO and Jackpot Systems are fully aligned with the new norm and today’s operators and players demand for a secure, universal cashless payment solution. The OKTO.WALLET provides a safe payment experience and open-loop payment options for consumers, offering them the freedom to use a single payment app that can be used anywhere as in gaming venues and beyond. In addition, OKTO provides users with a contactless convenience through a virtual and physical prepaid card, linked to the user’s OKTO account.

Users in Spain will now be able to embrace a complete cashless system by downloading for free the OKTO app and create an account. Thanks to the integration with the Jackpot Systems, players can load credits directly from their OKTO mobile wallet to EGMs, as well as collect their winnings at the end of the play session, straight into their OKTO.WALLET in real-time, without the use of any other Money-in or Cash-out system.

Alongside, the cashless solution harnesses tools to cover key issues, from responsible gaming, regulatory acceptance, security, choice and convenience, as well as public health, that enabling casinos and gaming halls in Spain to ramp up cashless payments quickly and efficiently.
