Sweden – Eight companies with Swedish license receive penalty fee

The Swedish Gaming Inspectorate has found that a number of licensees has violated legislation stipulating that gambling companies with a Swedish license must not offer betting on events or events where the majority of participants are under 18 years of age.
According to the Gaming Inspectorate’s assessment, the provision of betting on events or events where predominantly players are under the age of 18 is a direct danger to minors being exposed to the influence of manipulating results, which in turn leads to negative consequences of gambling.
The Gaming Inspectorate considers the violations to be serious and has decided on measures against the following licensees:
Betfair International plc , warning and a penalty fee of SEK 5,500,000. Has a license for the web site betfair.se
Bethard Group Limited , a warning and a penalty fee of SEK 2,500,000. Has a license for the sites: bethard.se, bethard.com, inandoutbet.com, inandoutcasino.com, turbico.com, esportsbetting.com, scandibet.com, nightrush.com, sverigecasino.com, sirjackpot.com, livelounge.com, sverigekasronan .com, betive.com, fastbet.com, turbovegas.com, oddyzzey.com, bettoday.com suomivegas.com, rapidi.com.
Casinostugan Ltd , warning and a penalty fee of SEK 3,500,000. Has a license for the casinostugan.com website
ElectraWorks Limited , a warning and a penalty fee of SEK 5,500,000. Has license for the website bwin.se
Hillside (Sports) ENC , warning and a penalty fee of SEK 10,000,000. Has a license for the website bet365.com
Polar Limited , warning and penalty fee of SEK 700,000. Have a license for the coolbet.com website
