Sweden – Kindred moves to new Stockholm location

By - 12 April 2019

The Kindred Group has moved to state-of-the-art premises at AMF Real Estate in Urban Escape in central Stockholm, consolidating its role as one of the leading tech companies in Sweden. The ambition is to double the number of employees in the coming years.

“It is very exciting to finally move into new premises in the middle of Stockholm where we can continue to grow at a fast pace. Since the birth of Kindred more than 20 years ago, it has been important for us to create a work environment that reflects our culture and our values,” says Henrik Tjärnström, CEO Kindred Group.

Kindred has grown rapidly in recent years and currently employs around 1,500 people worldwide, of which approximately 350 people work in Stockholm. The move means that Kindred’s office space increases from the current 3,000 square meters to 7,000 square meters. With the current growth rate, Kindred expects that the number of employees in Stockholm will double in the coming years.

“We are in an expansive phase right now and the new premises will allow us to grow rapidly. Several hundred new employees will be recruited to the Stockholm office in order for Kindred to secure its position as a digital gambling company at the forefront of technology development and sustainability,” says Henrik Tjärnström, CEO Kindred Group.

Kindred moves into two floors on Regeringsgatan 29 starting 8 April. Other tenants in the new tech cluster include EQT, Netlight and Microsoft.
