Swiss Casino Winterthur to sponsor FC Winterthur
With casino operations to kick-off in Lokstadt on 10 December 10, Swiss Casino Winterthur is partnering with FC Winterthur as a co-sponsor for the 2025/26 season, with the operator’s logo to be displayed on the back of the first team shirts.
The two have signed a three-year contract. FC Winterthur is considered a first-class and reliable advertising medium thanks to its charisma and image. Like FCW, Swiss Casinos is committed to sustainable and social cooperation and will operate the most modern and urban casino in Switzerland on around 2,600m2 in Lokstadt from December 2025.
Swiss Casinos CEO Marcel Tobler said: “We are very pleased to support FC Winterthur as a co-sponsor from the 2025/26 season. To coincide with the opening of our new Swiss Casino Winterthur in Lokstadt in December 2025, we are entering into a partnership with a club that stands for passion, being down-to-earth and cohesion – values that are also important to us.”

FC Winterthur is tackling its fourth Super League season in a row and wants to establish itself sustainably in Swiss professional football and, if possible, in the highest league.

The planned casino in the listed hall in the former train production site of Lokstadt supports the city of Winterthur in preserving its traditional industrial history. The combination of modern entertainment and industrial tradition will make Casino Winterthur a beacon for the entire region.
